Yin Yoga is influenced by Taoism and traditional Chinese medicine which view the body as a system of the five elements.
Yin Yoga is a slow paced style of yoga using asanas (poses) that are held for longer periods of time.
Yin Yoga works on an energetic level clearing blockages and balancing the flow of chi along our meridians.
Unlike other forms of yoga yin poses allow muscles to relax and the fascia to stretch creating more flexibility and mobility.
